A pork steak, also called Boston butt or pork blade steak, is a steak cut from the shoulder of the pig. Because the shoulder is a tough, muscular (yet it is FULL of flavor), we recommend slow cooking, or braising the steaks However, many like them quick pan fried, with a slightly chewier texture than a pork chop but a robust, delicious pork flavor to enjoy!
Our pastured pigs are raised outside and we move them weekly to fresh pasture. They feed on 100% organic grain mix as well as all kinds of grasses, nuts, bugs, and whatever they find in our certified organic pastures. NO GMO's, antibiotics, or hormones ever.
